Pi Clusters Are Kinda Like Legos
Because only having some servers is never enough, I recently bought some more Raspberry Pis. What was exciting is I also found a a neat “rack” of sorts for them (https://www.picocluster.com/collections/pico-5/products/pico-5-raspberry-pi). I thought, here’s a fun opportunity to make my home infrastructure more consistent and have a fancy little pile of servers running in my office.

That’s all the parts ready to be assembled. The power supply was neat. Wire in the cables and it has a pile of USB headers to give your boards power.
Generally speaking, the assembly was fairly easy. The side panels are secured in this clever way…a screw and nut combo that squeeze the panels together. It took a little getting used to, but once I understood, it’s a clever way to secure the panels.
I’ve never been great at cabling, so I assume it could look better, but here’s the finished product:

One of the little guys now hosts this blog, which is neat.
